The slab in the kitchen should not be of granite. Granite, when used in kitchen, is responsible for the growth of tumours. It has been thoroughly experimented upon and the researched by our Gurudev Shri Manoj K Juyal and team.
Granite has quartzitic structure. When it gets heat (from the burner), its crystals start vibrating, which in turn leads to development of cancerous growth in the lower abdominal area of the lady who stands for the maximum time span near it.
That is why, in Vastu, the use of granite as a kitchen slab, under the burner is prohibited.
The other options available: Green Marble and Yellow Jaisalmer stone.
If we have the granite slab, then in that case use Wooden board for chopping and other functions, and for making chapati’s use wooden chakla and belan.
Avoid direct contact with Granite.
