
This is the 6th house of any birth chart. This is the house from where you see your Service, Job Enemies, Diseases.
It also denotes, types of diseases – curable or not, nursing, food, services, employees, subordinates, servants, debts, cattle, tenants, jealousy, enemies, maternal uncles, mental anguish, untimely death, Dispute, litigations, Health, illness, divorce, daily work routine (office life), daily struggle, beggars, service industry (who service people), debts, prarabhd karma (unchangeable karma), mistress, theft, accident (through enemies or prarabhd karma).
6th House is an Upachya house (which matures and improves with time). Generally Malefic planets do well in this house. However the finer details do need to be considered for any conclusion.
This house also called Ari Bhava as it represents your Enemies.
Relatives it signifies are – uncles (maternal), step mother, relatives, mistress, paternal grandfather (way your grandma looked at him).
The body parts signified by this house are Small Intestine
Placements of different planets and lords of different houses in the 6th house play a very crucial role to judge the entire well being of the house.
Below are the basic and general permutation and combinations, as given in the texts, if the 6th lord is placed in the 12 different houses. This is at a very basic and mundane level. The actual impact can be judged when we combine the Lord placement with the sign and planet placements. But from a basic comprehension aspect, this will be helpful to understand as we go along. So, this is not to be taken literally as full diagnosis is required. You also have to understand, that these texts were written when our society and culture had much different values and norms. You have to be intelligent enough to interpret these according to today’s time place and condition. These are just excerpts. 6th Lord in the 1st house: Native will be sickly, famous, inimical to his own men, rich, honourable, adventurous and virtuous.
6th Lord in the 2nd house: Native will be adventurous, famous among his people, will live in alien countries, be happy, be a skilful speaker and be always interested in his own work.
6th Lord in the 3rd house: Native will be given to anger, be bereft of courage, inimical to all of his co-born and will have disobedient servants.
6th Lord in the 4th house: Native will be devoid maternal happiness, be intelligent, be a tale bearer, be jealous, evil-minded and very rich.
6th Lord in the 5th house: Native will have fluctuating finances. He will incur enmity with his sons and friends. He will be happy, selfish and kind.
6th Lord in the 6th house: Native will have enmity with the group of his kinsmen, but be friendly to others and will enjoy mediocre happiness in matters, like wealth.
6th Lord in the 7th house: Native will be deprived of happiness through wedlock. He will be famous, virtuous, honourable, adventurous and wealthy.
6th Lord in the 8th house: Native will be sickly, inimical, will desire others’ wealth, be interested in others’ wives and be impure.
6th Lord in the 9th house: Native will trade in wood and stones (‘Pashan’ also means poison) and will have fluctuating professional fortunes.
6th Lord in the 10th house: Native will be well known among his men, will not be respectfully disposed to his father and will be happy in foreign countries. He will be a gifted speaker.
6th Lord in the 11th house: Native will gain wealth through his enemies, be virtuous, adventurous and will be somewhat bereft of progenic happiness.
6th Lord in the 12th house: Native will always spend on vices, be hostile to learned people and will torture living beings.
